CentOS server not booting

CentOS server not booting

I have a server that I rent from OVH that has CentOS 6.4 64bit and I
decided to reboot it one day and BAM it failed to boot and I have no idea
what is wrong with it. OVH said "Here are the details of this operation:
Diagnosis interface boot (rescue) Date 2013-10-02 00:32:43, hugo.daoust
made Diagnosis interface boot (rescue): Here are the details of the
operation performed: The server gets stuck during the boot phase, with the
message:
"Starting HAL daemon"
I have no idea what this means does anyone know how to get the server back
up with out wiping it/reinstalling?
